I honestly cannot recommend the Toddler Group enough. My children absolutely love it. There is always something different to do/ explore and they love the singing/ dancing at the end and helping to tidy up.

Blast off This half term in PE we have started to look at athletics. This is in preparation of what will be our lovely Y6's last sports day at St John's. This weeks focus has been throwing.
40 Club All week our Y6 children have been absolutely smashing it in maths. We are really proud of how focused they have remained amongst the build up to their SATS. Well done Y6.
This afternoon in science, year 2 have been using mini microscopes to look at mini beasts. We hunted in our prayer garden and inspected them up close!
Year 1 had a wonderful PE lesson this week. We have been working on our team work skills to navigate how to use a parachute. Here are some highlights from our lesson
Strike Festival Yesterday some of our children from Y5 and Y6 went and took part in the girls only strike festival. On the day they tried some cricket and baseball. The weather played its part and they had a ball. Well done girls

This week year 4 have planned and written a newspaper report about an alien we found on the school grounds. I am impressed with how much pride you take in your work. Well done!
Skills builder in action, reception have been developing their speaking and listening skills this week in outdoor provision. We've been watching and listening to music sessions, completing observational drawings and creating large art work with our construction.
In y4 art this week, we have been creating 3d collages.we looked at the colour wheel and decided which colours to use to make our pieces 3d. We are continuing this next week.
